A proud #JerseyGirl (yes, that includes WaWa), Adele Taylor while always traveling around the world is a native of Williamstown, New Jersey. Growing up, you could find “little Adele” watching Disney Channel with her little brother and sister, reading on the beach in Atlantic City, or dancing her heart away at a competition.

In 2013, Adele left her East Coast life to attend the illustrious Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She majored in International Studies as a Bonner Scholar, Social Justice Fellow, Joseph, and Evelyn Lowery Institute Change Agent, Founder of ALL Ambassadors, and Model United Nations Team Member.
During her time she completed her undergraduate study abroad in Rwanda, also traveling to Uganda, China, France, and Belgium. In September of 2017, Adele completed her Masters in International Peace Studies Program at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and interned in Palestine.

As a philanthropist and advocate for literacy and education, at the age of 13, Adele created a tax-exempt nonprofit organization entitled Adele’s Literacy Library (A.L.L.) impacting over 50,000 people through several international programs and working with a variety of brands and organizations. While volunteering as a brand influencer for longtime friend Jasmine Lawrence, Founder of Eden Bodyworks, Adele was approached as a social media influencer, and after a great pep talk from her childhood friend, began her career as @curlyprincessa22.
In 2020, after traveling the world, Adele rebranded herself as GlobalCurlz.
GlobalCurlz is a storytelling platform that discusses the natural hair movement around the world creating a space for education, empowerment, and equality.

Merging her passion for youth empowerment, education, and tech, Adele currently serves as the Digital Programs and Partnerships Manager at Thorn. In her role she strategically leads new initiatives and programs for youth prevention within the trust and safety field.
Before joining Thorn, she served as a Campaigns Manager at DoSomething.org where she managed paid campaigns for Fortune 500 Companies. She loves to use her past experiences working at other international non profits to create innovative solutions and develop strategic programs for positive impact.
A Pageant Girl Since 10.
Having grown up with the Miss America Pageant just 45 minutes from her home, Adele began competing in pageants at the age of 10 for National American Miss. She then moved on to the Miss America Outstanding Teen Organization at age 13 promoting her platform on the importance of literacy.
Adele was Miss Monmouth 2020 under the Miss New Jersey Education Foundation and Miss America Organization. Adele is the 3rd runner up to Miss New Jersey 2021 and competed with her social impact initiative #LiteracyisL.I.T. She was also the non finalist Evening Gown winner at Miss New Jersey USA 2022.
